You wanted to know why the AMA is not growing here's a couple of great reasons:

Anyone that whines about the $58 a year makes me laugh out loud. The whiny complainers are every where !! A National Club that looks out for its members, has a magazine that covers the spectrum of aero modeling, keeps up with the law Makers etc etc etc is priceless. Whiny, *****y complainers, ''LEAVE IF YOU DONT LIKE IT, WE DONT NEED YOU'' doing your whiny,*****y routine and just being a pain in the BUTT. LEAVE and be done with it. Quit bringing the rest of us down with your schtick. ENOUGH SAID.

Way to many Whiners out there, pay your dues have fun, dont let the whiners ruin your fun. Run them off if possibe, or never let them join.
We need to keep the whiners out. I speak for myself not the AMA. Yes I am an AMA member and proud of it. Whiners seem have taken over the WORLD and I am tired of it. Have contructive critcisim, want to make things better. Work through your club, AMA officers, contribute your time, ''DONT WHINE''
Why yes Hiji it is. since you seem to be speaking to me ! The Hobby will always be there. We dont need to cater to whiners, and complainers, they are the vocal minority that we hear from waaaay to much. They feel its there right to complain loud and long about what ever. Alot of folks, me included are tired of it.
These "whiners" are the beginners trying to get into the hobby with out spending a fortune doing it. And when you respond like this when someone says that the price to get into the hobby is a bit high, this is a REALLY good reason as to why people don't want to join the AMA. Why would I want to be associated with people that think and say things like that?
You have one less new member here, and I can only imagine how many others have been turned off by similar comments.
