Default RE: Why the AMA is not growing...........

A final response

From what I understand there is an undertow of disenchantment regarding some of the practices of the AMA. To date I have little concern with their practices & policies yet, if I did, I would be the first one to speak to a representative at the organization. We all have different needs based on the reaches of our hobby and it is up to the AMA and the local chapters to work together to produce the best possible results.

If we are not satisfied, perhaps we should look first into our local chapters and its people before laying blame on the organization as whole.

With that last thought I leave this thread with one more point to ponder:

How can continued growth and preservation of our hobby be established when the the members of its own organization refuse to see eye-to-eye and refuse to establish a culture of learning and safety? It's worked for the hundreds of thousands of pilots involved with the EAA and AOPA since the dawn of aviation. Perhaps we should follow.

Cheers All and we'll cu at the flying field.
