Not sure we 're on the same wavelength... the MPDX-1 is a separate device that plugs into channel 11 or 12, and turns the one proportional channel at full update rate into 8 separate proportional channels at a fully proportional but slower update rate.

For 2.4GHz Futaba systems, you need the newer HS services receivers, it was not supported by the original "FS" receivers. You need the latest firmware update for the 14MZ TX to set up the additional channels .. that as been out for a long time (1-2 years).

Perhaps you are thinking of the two on/off channels (DG1 and DG2, channels 13 and 14) on the 6014? Those continue to be available an are unrelated to the MPDX-1. I have set up and played with the MPDX-1 and it is definitely full proportional, and even with the slower update rate is reasonably responsive.
