Another great days flying at classic jets! I have no idea how many flights were logged today but it must run into the hundreds and as ever the standard of flying was excellent.

Notable events to me was the test flights of two Comp Arf Hawks, the test flight of Ali's new HT Modelbau Hunter. We also had some good formation flying by Tim Jenkinson and Robbie Meek with their Comp Arf lightnings and also Paul Heckles and Ali with the Cougar and Viperjet respectively.

It was great to have Gordon Whitehead attend as he organised the first ever jet meeting at Abingdon back in the 80's.

Finally, I didn't get either of the names of the two scottish modellers but it was real dedication as it took, I think, 7 hours for them to drive to the event. But they seemed really happy with their newly test flown PCM tristar and we look forward to seeing them again.
