Default RE: losi strike.........

I think alot of people are getting hung up on the whole "based on the Highroller" thing. It's not necessarily a bad thing, considering that it is after all a truck. The Slash is built primarily off the Stampede platform and it does quite well on the track. I think it's cool that it's not a flat-bottomed chassis that is derived from a XXX-T. I had a Slash and loved it. I currently own an SC10, and love it too. The driving experience between the two was much more similar than it was different. The "box stock" performance was nearly identical. The only tangible difference IMO, is that the SC10 drivetrain feels smoother and more refined. I suspect that will be the case with the Strike as well. The Blitz and SC10 "appear" more race inspired if you're looking at chassis design, whereas the Slash and Strike "appear" more truck-like in the chassis design. I'm glad to see the SCT class gaining in popularity, it's a blast to drive these trucks. I think that people get a little ridiculous about calling any product from one of the major manufacturers a piece of junk. They wouldn't be major players in the game if they produced garbage. In the end, it all comes down to preference and most of all driver skill, not brand superiority.
