RE: Classic Jets
I finally managed to make it to Abingdon for the last couple of hours, as attractive as my applied maths instructor is (which is a distraction really as i am looking at her figure rather than the figures on the board) i was inpatient to leave and make my way up the A34. Although i did not fly, these meets are well worth the journey regardless as the social aspect is every bit as good . . . if not more so than the flying, Dick and his team doing a fantastic job as usual. Was keen to get a glimpse of Ali's Hunter ( that P160 looks lost inside!) Steve Elias' UB with the drop tanks looked good, had a nice whistle to it, Phase 3 Squall's are popular and for good reason, i liked the new scheme on the Mach 1 and it seemed to be getting a good workout aswell. Hopefully i will be able to get there earlier for CJ41!
