Hi i have just recently got hold of a used race runner, i have been stripping it as it`s very dirty, anway do you realy need grease on the outside of the front and back diffs?
The reason i ask is anyone with one will know that there is no bottom to the diff boxes so when you remove the box you have to cleanall the grease off of the chassis then probably put more grease on.
But on FG`s people don`t put grease on the diff cog, i understand internalyy you would have too. Is itjust becasue the diff are in sealed plastic housings that grease is applied?
If i do need to put more grease on what sort and how much?
