If you can get the 3 shoe set up it will work better, and go for the aluminum shoes too

I dont think the 3.3 clutch setup will work for you man I tried putting a 3.3 flywheel on mine and it wasnt thick enough
seems like alu shoes are the way forward but it would appear the 3.3 is not a option

is there a flywheel and clutch shoe coombo that is recommended for the stock 18SS+ engine ??

i dont know if it will work for you, but i know integy makes a three shoe aluminum clutch kit for the savage that i put on my t15. you can find it for around $10-$20 on ebay
cheers for the reply

i stumbled across the tower hobbies web site and they have lots of clutch shoes. so many i dont have a clue which ones to buy.
can someone tell me wich ones are best for mainly running on grass and sometimes on road
engine is a std 18ss+
