Eminent I running the composite shoes right now but they are just like those aluminum's you listed.
The half tank lean problem on the savage is because the tank hangs below the carb. If you pust a longer length of fuel tubing from the tank, out the rear shock tower and then back in to the carb it helps a little. Make sure you tune the truck with half. If you tune it at a full tank when it hits half tank its going to run lean.
The updated larger G3.0 tank is larger
