No problem I have flown 4#3, 4#3A, 4#3B, 4G3 all off carpet and all have the same wire skids, you will find the CB100 much easier to handle than the 4G6, with the more stable head its much better for a beginner but still needs a tad of right cyclic when lifting, with the 4G6 it may be best for you to use a couple of straws as trainers while you get the hang of it, like all shaft driven tails the gears are very easily damaged if snagged, Also a square of cardboard will make a fine helipad if you find carpet a problem.
