Default trainer turned sport plane?

well this started out as a superstar EP electric plane.but I decided I wanted more power so I converted it to nitro with an OS 25 LA. this is the second one I have made (didn't reinforce wing on first one and folded it) the final plane weighs less than the electric version but flies at a much higher speed so the wing needed reinforcement. I used aluminum arrow shafts in the wing to reinforce it and then added aluminum airfoil tubing for wing struts (screwed to a birch dowell that runs between the sides of the fuse on the inside) and screwed and epoxied to the aluminum arrow shafts in the wings. this plane is a real performer now (especially if I remove the restrictive exhaust system I made.it even flies inverted. and I am thinking of adding ailerons next to raise the performance level a bit more. I traded this particular plane off of a forum user and it was wrecked when I got it. the electic engine and firewall was ripped completely out and the sides were peeled back like a banana. but I took it as a challenge and repaired it and made a new firewall out of plywood and used birch blocks to rebuild the top of the cabin structure and converted it to a bolt on wing in the process using 1/4 inch nylon wing bolts and blind nuts at the rear and 1/8 wooden dowels at the front. I also removed all "taped" hinges and replaced them with nylon pinned hinges and added a steerable tail wheel. this is also the first plane I have ever covered using monokote. I am looking for some new wheel pants for it now to replace the ones destroyed in the crash of the first one. I have a 3rd wing left over from a superstar ep that I am going to try to make a new fuselage from scratch for and this one will be a low wing design.
