I looked on the Hitec site but was unable to find any specific Futaba compatibility information. My understanding is that things are supposed to be available sometime this month?

No specific instructions relating to any one type of transmitter as the two listed Manuals cover various instalations anduses. Web search will evidence posts already submitted on variousforumsby severalsatisfied Futaba owners describing theirvarious transmitters and resultswith the Hitec 2.4GHz Spectra installed.
The most comprehensive threadon the Hitec 2.4GHz system includes a tip for thosefrequently interchange modules and wish to avoid time taken to interchange PPM&2.4Ghz TX antenna:
