Default RE: Stihl MS250 saw engine

I pulled the engine after running it some and doing a compression test. 170psi after having run it! Yes it pulled hard. That's one reason I believe it has barely been ran. The inside looks as close to new as you can get on an engine that has been run. So now I have to decide weather to convert it or let it go. What would be the propeller side of the crank is short. But that should provide good rigidty I would think. All ready has a pulse hook up for the carb. It weighed in at 2lbs. 10oz. just the way it is pictured with the spark plug. To mount it would need some brackets like the Poulan 42. It uses a boot type carb hook up like a Poulan 46. But this has a small lip around it. I was thinking of an adapter that would fit over it and then an oring for support and sealing next to the engine. Then have 3 spaced set screws around it that would be next to the lip to secure it.
