Default RE: Dynaflite Butterfly build

liftdump, I used fastcolor blue matalic on the firewall, wing saddle, and inside to where the pushrod tubes are. I probably have too much fuel proofing(added wieght). I have about 3 coats of the blue paint, then two coats of dope, and then on the firewall and inside bottom, thinned epoxy. After I had used the paint, I realized that I did not know if the paint was fuel proof. That is why I used dope on top of paint.

I hope to have the wings finished by the weekend.

Make sure you have a large table and work area. Things get messy fast!

Im still unsure of what to do for a tail wheel. I may just install the wood skid for now.
And Im still unsure of what color to use for covering. I have two rolls of transparent blue monokote and one transparent yellow. My son wants the trans yellow on top of wing, and trans blue on bottom with regular bright yellow on wing tips. The only problem with that is the blue and yellow transparent will looke green I think. I know that where I overlaped the trans blue over the solid yellow, it is a dark green. I should have did it the other way around! I think that it may be better just to do the wing in transparent blue, and add solid yellow on wing tips!
