I believe I have that setup on my F-16 (not advanced). The way it works is the sir would push up the o-ring and contact the wheel to stop it. The main disk will not rotate, it is fine. if you have air leak around the tire, then use some heavy silicon grease on the interface of the tire and the wheel and tighten the screws in x-pattern, pump it up and retighten if required to stop the leak.
