Well guys need some help again. I now have an 18ss that I have installed an OS 18CRV and a 2 speed.
First thing is, what gears should I be running? Right now I have 49/47 and 13/16 on the bell. It's pretty quick but my other MT2 with an OS 18 and 49 spur gear is very close to being the same speed.

Now here is one that has a few people stumped. On the 18ss I was running an RD logics exhaust (part# 61235 SO). I am blowing the exhaust gasket everytime I run the car. i went threw 4 gaskets in an hour last night messing around. Got fed up and threw the stock exhaust back on. Didn't blow the gasket but had to lean out the carb more, what a difference in power. Can't conrtol it nailing the throttle now. Why would I gain so much power with a stock exhaust? (think its more bottom end then top end) and Why would I constantly be blowing the gakets out with the other exhaust system <<<that's what has people stumped.
