See how tight the pinch is before you crank it. I've seen them very tight. Have a hotter plug on hand just in case it doesn't like the OS 8 heat range..

Like a #6 or a #7 (formally an A3)?
This is a true ABC engine, but I mean like a non-ringed 2 stroke pinch at the top.
Yes, the A3 is perfect and necessary for the Evo .455, .46NT, .61 engines. The .52 runs very well with them too, but I'm not as sure about it being necessary.
