RE: just stripped another idler gear.
k5.9 all original xl. running gear anyhow.
there is about 2-3mm to each side on the largest gear. (sorry dont know the name. aint got my manual on me)
could having the idle set to high be doing this. as i do adjust this back and forth on each start up.
bearings seem fine....
