Default RE: Landing Craft Tank

Oz:

I have 300 dpi scans of the LCM-3 (D-Day 50' footers) That model was later modded with a 6' extension in the middle to make the LCM-6 version (56' total length) for use in the Pacific. Scale-wise, thats 37.5" for the -3 & 42" for the -6 types.

Now unless you're a glutton for punishment, those are the two models you'll wanna aim for in 1/16 scale, as the next model up is over 100' long, which would be over 6' long at scale.

I have a saw inbound so I'll soon me cutting short kits (frames & keel only, you supply hull planking, decking & details) from these plans, supplying the plans on DVD with 'em. I hope to have some pics up by Xmas, if all goes well.

If you wanna DIY 100%, I can email the plans, just gimme a PM w/ your e-mail, ok?
