I have to agree that you can't decide the merits of an entire company based on one product. Yes, their electronics suck and shame on them for putting their name on such crap.... but their vehicles are well designed and built.
I'm going to have to disagree there. The drag link on my mini-t came mounted on the threaded portions of the screws so when it steered the threads would slowly chew away at the plastic which increased slop. I don't find that design very well thought out. Not only that ,but the oil shocks use a weird design in which the ''O'' rings that seal the bottom of the shaft are enclosed in a ''cartridge''. This design: 1. doesn't allow the o rings to be adjusted to stop leaking 2. if they wear out, and losi discontinued the car and support, the shocks are worthless. You can't just scrounge up new o rings.[:'(]
I agree with the fact that losi electronics are garbage. All of the electronics in the above mentioned mini-t died within 2 years. Also I bought a losi mini ''peak'' charger. It does charge packs well, a bit too well. Although it switches to trickle charge when it senses the pack is almost done, it doesn't stop charging. Not realising that, I left a good battery of mine on a bit too long and it kept charging 'til the pack exploded. Not my idea of a good peak charger...[:@]
You're seriously going to suggest that all losi vehicles are poorly designed because of the cheapest one in their entire line up? Take a look at the 8ight 2.0. Again, here's someone saying everything losi sucks because of a sub $200 1/18 mini rc....
