RE: just stripped another idler gear.
well i installed another idle gear today. whilst i had it apart i adjusted the 1st to 2nd gear change and came across this bearing.
could well may have been my problem. seems to have tightened up the gears a bit (not so much play left to right).
see how we go though i guess.
