Yup, FLM EXT LCG. Thats why your having a bit of a hard time. You could just Lower the gearing (like a 15/49 or 13/52) and make sure your spur is set as tight as possible. Also having alloy clutch shoes will help allot.
I dont see the engine as a part of the problem, maybe the tuning is off and you dont have that low end punch but in general they are pretty good engines.
If you have a set of dirt bonz or similar, that will give it better grip and a lighter load to lift up front. Put extra spacers on the rear shocks, 2 on each, stiffer springs if you have them.
