I am planning to get an OMP 540 but I want to make it into something more like a real plane. In the funfly forum a while back, I saw a guy who took a sledge and created a non profile fuse using it's wood and some of his own. I don't know how you would do this but it looked really cool. I don't dislike profiles, I just like "Real" planes better. If someone could give me a hand in drawing up some plans and getting ideas for this project it would be really great. I was thinking of something along the lines of the Giles 3D (Giantscaleplanes.com), a real fuselage but kind of skinny to use less wood and make it lighter. It should come out around the same weight.
