IMO, Neu motors are still king without paying for a plettenburg. I don't run 1/10 brushless motors but I have a buddy who runs the redline in his Losi XXX-T CR and it moves pretty good. He did have a rotor grenade on him, but I don't know how long he had been running it.
If you had extra money might wanna see if a Neu 1409 would fit
