My first post here so hey everyone!
but I have a problem here, I've got a used ESC that seems like its from an A-Tech BX-1 according to google, but I cant find any other info about it, or how to set it up for that matter.
Its got this lot written on it: "A-tech AP-EN1 Excel - FET Speed Controller" and one button.
After fixing this up to my gear it seems no power goes to the motor... and its badly calibrated...
i've followed some instructions for another manufacturers esc (hold button until light flashes, then have trigger in neutral, forward, reverse blah) but afterwards the light (ie to show its working maybe?) only comes on if i go up & down after using trim settings.
Basically what I mean is... its as if when I press the calibrate button, its counting the whole full up & down movements as a deadzone.
From what I see, up/forward makes a red light, down/reverse shows a green light.
But definately no power goes to my motor whether the lights are on or off.
Do I have a dead ESC? or have i not calibrated it right? How do I calibrate it even?
PS: I've opened it up to check for loose connections; and none
Can anyone help?
Many Thanks,
Wez
