I had a student who was a full scale pilot. He was just naturally using the rudder, which makes sense. The funny part was that when I started him on landing approaches, there was a bit of a cross wind. So, what did he do? Yep, slipped it right in. (well, he was learning, so he acutally slipped it nicely, but missed the runway the first few times. )
