I've been using a standard JR DS 821 digital and they work well.
these are a good choice. I have never found a reason to run metal gear servo's on a throttle, over kill if you ask me. Besides the Engine is only going to spool up so fast any way. no matter how fast your servo is to a certain piont.
The DS821 servos are a good servo, but the speed is .15 sec. @ 6v.
I
was using the Futaba S3004 which is .19 sec. @ 6v.
I thought that it was fine till I tried ( what I am using now ) the Hitec HS-6965HB servo.
It is .08 sec. @ 6v and what a differance.
My engine ( DL-100 ) doesn't have any trouble spooling up with a servo at this speed ( .08 ).
The fast speed really, really helps with 3D flying.
