Yes, I dd find out what caused the loss of the Starfire. It seems using a LiPo battery in the 10X transmitter causes a diode or a board or something like that to burn out, in turn causing intermitten signal loss. There is supposed to be a bulletin on the Horizon site about this but to this day I have not been able to find it. After doing a lot of research and talking to several guys, I recently purchased a Futaba 12FG FASST system to replace the 10X.

If I recall this wasn't a JR issue but a Spektrum module issue. I believe I saw the document that said not to run over 11v to the Spektrum module.
