RE: Jet Central Problems ... warantee???
My solution to start gas regulation was to replace the restrictor with a needle valve. Originally my Falcon would barely light off and the starter motor would cycle 4 or 5 more times before the rpm would finally run up. Also on cold days or when the Powermax can was getting low I would have to leave the can connected and give it extra shots of gas.
Borrowing the idea from my Wren I replaced the restrictor with an OS 91 remote needle valve (on the right in the picture below). At about 1/4 turn open it starts and runs up fine under most conditions. When the weather gets cold or when the Powermax can is getting low I just open the valve a click or two and it starts fine.
The LTW may be a good deal for a lot of Jet Central owners but one thing it has done is to lower the resale value of our turbines by $250.
