Who says you have to drop $200 to get a Neu? Buy one used. Not like they are hard to come by with the recent expansion in 1/8 brushless conversions and kits. Buy a used CC Neu for ~$100. If you need more motor than that than you must already have deep pockets for a bigger scale project and should be able to afford a 1521 or larger.

But by all means, buy one and let us know how that motor holds up to 6s, or near 40k rpm.
