I think someone asked this earlier on the thread, on my 12Z the MPDX-1 can be used in FAAST. My understanding was that it was the same situation for the 12FG but I have heard so many stories one way or the other, I am not sure.
I agree with Janne, the channels are fine for many uses. I have used them on nosewheel steering, flaps, throttle, no problem. I could NOT use them for the AUX control on the turbine, which is a bummer. To me a big limitation is the lack of a trim feature on those channels.
I think I figured a way to spoof the ECU and use the MPDX-1 for the AUX but it is a tricky setup and I never proofed it out.
After downloading firmware update 1.6 and installing it into my 12FG, Multiprop appears in the Linkage menue, you then have to assign a channel to the MPDX 1 or 2 and the extra channels appear, the assignement appears to only work on the main channels and not on DG1 or DG2, I am still looking into this to see if it can be moved to them.
So we can say that the MPDX-1 does work on the 12FG, glad that is cleared up as I bought two of them on the off chance it would work.

Hey Mike, did you test it in FASST mode or PCM/PPM?
