UCD with Saito 100 problem.
I am having a problem with my Saito 100 on my UCD3d. I have had this problem with both a bladder tank, and the regular stock tank, so I know that this is not a tank problem.
I have the engine on a cline regulator, about an inch and a half from the carb.
Whenever I pull up sharply, and encounter a large positive g force, I will get a dead stick engine. I have been having to be careful not to do this if I want my flight to run the whole tank out. I have checked to see if there is any kinks in the fuel hose that would close when the tubing is pulled on, like in a high g pull-up, but I do not think that is what is happeneing. The Saito is in the standard UCD3D mount, inverted.
Why is this happeneing? Is the cylinder being flooded momentarily? The engine runs perfect except for this. Great idle, great instant transition, great WOT. Has anyone else seen this problem?
Thanks
