Mike, I suspect the brake bellows may be damaged but now know what I am looking for it's gonna be a lot easier.

Hey madmodelman, i had the same problem with the same type of brakes on my Tam F-16, seems the o-rings had perished as i had taken over a year to get it together, bought some new ones and fitted them with a little silicon grease, works fine now. i had to buy 20, but an 10p each at least i'll have spares!!
