Sometimes it can be a real hassle to get out depending on the engine and other times it almost falls out. If you keep trying you will get it. Just be careful not to scratch any internal parts.
The first time i did it was a pain and scary. But now i could almost take and engine apart with my eyes shut. You will be ok.
