thats not a bad idea mate. probably one of the better solutions ive heard.
i have not checked that yet. but i sure will.

Stupid question
Are the top screw holes to the case stripped out?
Back when the X first came out, that was a common occurrence. People would take the top off the case, then over-tighten and strip out the holes.

Just a thought
