Hi I'm 56, and have been flying since I was 4 years old, my Dad and Uncle bought me a Cox 049 Ucontrol for my birthday and have been hooked ever since. First Radio controlled plane I flew used what they called a rubber band escapement system. Back then you either biult your own or found someone who liked to biuld. There was no such thing as an ARF or RTF or electic. Also have had a full scale pilot's license for many years. In RC I have flown just about everything you can think of, low wing, High wing, War bird's Bi plane's Tri motors. Twins, Jet's Turbin and pulse, Racers, Chopper's, the first Heli I flew was before they had gyro's, and the list goes on. The Technology just keeps getting better and better. I'm always asking myself, What's Next?
