The sad thing is I just had a long conversation with Uncle Bob and he told me that he had just sent out a letter to all of his reps listing a strict code of conduct. I guess that this is how it was recieved.
Then it's time to call Bob back and have ANOTHER chat.
I had a conversation with Dustin at CA Jets this year, in which I told him that there are a mere handful of BVM rep's who are costing BVM a bunch of lost sales because no-one wants to spend a bunch of money to (a) be treated like that, and (b) be subsidising the hobby of those reps.
I also pointed out to Dustin that based on comments I've heard Bob make in the past, I (like many others) sincerely doubt that Bob will ever do anything meaningful about these guys, because he gives the impression of having more loyalty to certain of his rep's than to his customers. I was told that I was completely wrong about that ... well, I guess now is the time to find out which of us was right - will anything MEANINGFUL be done about the rep who's making such calls to you ?
The thing I find so unfortunate about all of this, is how the really great BVM rep's put in a ton of work to build up BV's reputation, only to see it get needlessly thrown away by others.
