Default Engine selection for Midwest Super Stinker

from a glow perspective, I have extensive flying onmy SS with Moki 180, 18-8 prop. No nose weight needed for balance and exceptional power, out of sight vertical and easy to land due to a very low wing loading.

If I was going to (thought about it) gas power it, I would have tried a 40cc engine first, hoping to achieve the same power. I would look at the ZDZ40 myself...

I have run a 40cc dolmar based engine with a 20-8 prop in a slightly heavier airframe and it gave decent climb and hoverability. SHould work out OK with the Stinker, if you keep the servos and battery rearward as to not have to add tailweight.

JMO...
