Unless someone has a reason why these won't work, I think I'm going to make these my batteries to go with the 3000kv Outrunner and 30amp esc. This will keep the ''cheap as hell'' theme going too.

2s lipo's at 3000 rpm's (7.4v x 3000 x 80% (losses) = 16,800 rpm's) is relatively slow. You'll want to use 3s or 4s (11.1 to 14.8v) to get into the upper 20's/lower 30's for a peppy boat. Which motor are you using?
