I have a table similar to that, the B&D Workmate.
On the bottom of my test stand I but an upside down ''T''
Made out of 3/4'' plywood.
That gets clamped by the two table halves.
My table is heavy enough I don't anchor it.
If you have all of this why go to the field?
I test in my driveway - the field is 20 miles away.

I have exactly the same set up except that the test stand is bolted to a heavy maple cutting board that I use clamps to hold it on the heavy B&D Workmate.
