Default RE: Real Flight G5...

Opjose relax.. I just said I hate arguing on rcuniverse with people.. it's just not me haha I agree that both simulators are very accurate and serve there purpose, as well as any other top notch sim.... I just feel that fs one feels more like it feels at the field to ME.. everyone has an opinion
NOT an "opinion", just point of fact.

Realflight has the most accurate physics modeling to date.

As I said I have a LOT of the planes in FSOne, and they behave NOTHING like the real things.

The user created models available for G3/G4/G5 are far more accurate than the same planes in FSOne.

Choose a plane that you have in real life and fly in FSOne, and I can start to list where the modeling is wrong.

As I mentioned the closest is the Alpha, but the drag ratios are wrong as is the overall wing lift.

In real life I've often instructed new pilots on how to land the alpha by doing nothing more than killing the engine at a distance and holding the plane level until it touches down. FSOne bleeds off the airspeed too quickly ( but it is closer here than in any other model it has ) and doesn't handle the stall as it should. Tweaking the plane in the editor does not correct the improper nuances.

Compare that with the "user created" Alpha in G4 ( plane available on the swaps ) which gets the same right.

Ahem: in part due to the fact that I did the modeling myself..... to mimic the actual plane characteristics.
