Default RE: Panzer III Extensive Upgrade

Hi, I like the upgrades to your HL PIII , I was wondering whether you have thought about using some sort of variable valve type thing ( like an exhaust butterfly valve ) and modification to the wiring to the smoke generator to make it proportional ?

What I mean is, if you make just the smoke generator proportional, there will be a delay between the power being applied and more smoke being generated, a problem which could be solved by using a simple micro servo setup with a piece of plastic tube and the servo arm working a butterfly type exhaust valve. The fit of the valve doesn't have to even be that accurate by any means, just quite a crude setup would I think do wonders, what do you think?

I would love to see someone implement this. Has anyone so far managed this? If so, any chance of a web linky?

I'd have tried it myself were it not for the fact that I've only got a Gepard in it's box unbuilt and don't have a runner tank at all yet, I'm wanting to get the HL P3 for Xmas.

Cheers,

Alistair G.
