Default Is flutter a problem on jet aircraft?

I just noticed that I have some laxity in the control rod to the left rudder on my F18. How much "slop" is tolerable? It's loose at the plastic servo arm (the hole seems too big)......it can't be swapped out without ripping the servo out of it's glued location. I'd rather not do that if I don't have to.

Are jets prone to flutter as much as prop aircraft? (I'd never tolerate that much slop in my extra 330.)
