Just to add a little fuel this fire... [X(] Tower has noted that Real Flight is offering an "upgrade" option from 3.5 on up for $79.00. You get the DVD but no controller.

That's not a bad deal.

But, I won't debate what is good or bad as far as simulators is concerned because I have always said that they are a tool, but no substitution for the real thing.
