Yeah, that's the reason I stayed with G3.5...why upgrade if you need to buy everything all over again. Although, maybe at first they thought they'd pull a MicroSoft...

I would gladly only pay $80 to upgrade, and I will. Honestly, though, people who are griping never sit back to think about software. You do the same for say, Windows. I upgraded from 2000 to XP; XP did the same stuff as 2000, but there were a lot of new things also that I complained about. In retrospect, after using some of those new things, I rather enjoyed them. Give them a try, you never know!!!
