I've been using XPS since they came out and never have had a problem. I do use direct lipo as power source and now with the updated version I believe now we have proven frequency hopping capability. Just as XPS has lost planes I have seen the first Futabas heat up and planes lost. I believe no single manufacturer is perfect but now most of them if not all have resolved their gripes...
I am an XPS believer, I have it on a 100cc Composite Edge converted to electric with a Hacker A150-8 on 14S pulling close to 200A, I cannot think of a system more unfriendly to receivers...
