5600gr is to heavy for the 120..maybe its the pipe but im about 5700 with the 160 gas ant pipe.Engine with the accesories is 1450gr so maybe one of as has bad scale.

I think i can save some weight by changing tha throtle servo to a smaler one and maybe can take some balsa off the canopy conpartment...But the best end more expensive is to change the wing tube and landing gear with carbon ,and the engine base with a plastik one
I estimate one can save about 300-350gr this way ...
You made me check my scale......and it turns out just fine (had some calibrated weights to check with).
Put the plane on the scale again and.....exactly 5800...oeps forgot to empty the tank and there was still little less than half a tank (tank = 500cc) so the 5600 gram mentioned in my first posting was correct (maybe check your scale?

)
Noticed you did not use the cowling? That will count for 200 - 250 grams? And my battery is heavier.
I added about 80 grams to the plane with some fixtures for the tuned pipe, engine, battery, tank and receiver.
I did not bother to save on weight for the landing gear as it turned out I needed the nose weight anyway to get a correct CG. With a lighter landing gear I would have to add weight to the nose (already had to place the battery right under the engine)
The same goes for the engine mount.
A lighter wing tube is something to consider. The supplied tube is 200 gram a carbon tube would be something like 125-150 gram. Saves 50-75 grams.....
The cockpit floor could be removed but saves ? +/- 10 grams?
I will fly the plane as it is now and see (only will try a larger prop; I have a 17x8 wood prop and 18x8 carbon prop to try)
Cheers!
