Default RE: Official HPI Hellfire Thread

ORIGINAL: littleredrooster679

People, I snapped the ''rip cord'' on my Hellfire... went out and bought a Ofna starter box used (good shape).

Now, I tried it, but it seems too weak to the motor to turn over... plus it ''skids'' all over the cog that it's supposed to turn.. doesn't seem to stick to it well enough.

Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong?

The flywheel must sit exactly over the box wheel and the HF must sit down fully flat on the box. Adjust the allignment pegs etc on the box to get it exact. Make sure the batteries are fully charged, loosen the glow plug, heat the engine if not broken in.
