I got 5 flights in today on my H9 Taylorcraft and the DLE 30. The engine still had the dieing issue once I got it back from Ralph so I was tired of waiting and it was going to be a good day as far as the weather so up it went. I first taxied around and let it bounce around to see if it would die and it seemed ok. I lined her up with the runway and poored the coal to her and off she went. After a few laps the engine died but that was due to over heating. To much air coming in the front of the cowl and not enough going out. So after tapping up the front of the cowl and another dead stick from over heating I finally had it licked. The DLE 30 performed well and has a ton of power. I was looking for it to die once I touched down but it stayed running and seem to be ok.
