Got a sweet deal on discontined model at a swap meet this weekend. It's an ARF Morris Balsa nova 40. No manual came with it. The guy that sold it to me said he would send it in the mail. I have most of the build figured out and it looks fairly easy. The on;y thing I cant figure out is an 18 inch wooden dowl that I'm certain is part of the wing joining procedure, but there are no marking or holes anywhere to be seen on the inside porttion of the wings where they join together. Guess I'll just have to wait on the manual to come in the mail. Was hoping that maybe someone here had put one together. Can't find the manual online anywhere. Lots of threads on the model, but very little info. Couple of folks at the ARF site have promised manuals as well. I guess I'm just anxious to fly.

What engine you gonna put on it?
I bought mine already built and it came with an OS .46 fx. I didn't get a manual either, but I love flying it, it does the best knife edge of all the planes I have. If I were building a new one I think I'd go with a .55. I'd also ditch the two piece main gear if you can and go with a one piece. It will help a little on rough landings. Hope you get it in the air soon and give us some pics!
I bought this plane because it only weighs a little over 5 lbs. I have a new OS 46 LA and think with the 5lb weight it'll do. Good to hear that some else has one. I know that the 46 LA wont make it a rocket with unlimted vertical, but it will do. I did notice and cable in the bag with the control rod horns. Does yours have a push pull cable installed to the elevator or rudder, instead of a control rod? I thinking it is a push pull system for one of the two. Man I hope that guy mails the manual as he promised. I would like to fly it this weekend!!
